Babywearing has become hip again! And thank goodness 'cos it is so darn sensible. Forget that expensive, unwieldy buggy and try a sling. You'll find it helps calm fussy babies, helps regulate small babies' temperature, and promotes 'quiet alertness' - the optimal state for learning. What's more you will find you can actually go about your daily business and get in and out the car with much less fuss. Of course everyone will tell you that your baby is the cutest thing in the world snuggled up to you like that, but they will in fact be wrong because MY babies are the cutest things in the world, but you are allowed to have the next cutest baby. ;) |

I found the d&z sling to be the absolute best thing I ever bought with my second baby (actually I bought two 'cos they are so pretty!). It meant I could take my toddler to kindy, keeping my newborn safe and away from interested (but grubby!) hands, and she could sleep or watch as I went through the day. dulce and zoet slings are made right here in NZ, and are the least fussy sling around. No straps and adjusting, you can pop one on all by yourself in a few seconds. Your baby is carried safely in a natural position with no pressure on the spine. They work from newborn right up to older toddlers and can be worn back or front as suits for older children! |

d&z slings come in four sizes, but the sizing depends on the carrier, not the baby - so the sling that fits you will carry your child from birth to toddler. To determine your size, measure with a tape measure around your chest and back, just under your arms (literally in your armpits):

Many thanks to Eva and Vibeke for allowing us to carry this fantastic product! We have slings available in our retail store as well, so if you are in Auckland do pop on over to try one out.
You still wanna know what dulce and zoet stands for eh? Both words mean 'sweet' in the mother tongues of their creators - Spanish and Dutch. Isn't that sweet ;)
